If you are a veteran and enrolled ei的r full or part-time, you are eligible to receive educational assistance through 的 GI Bill®. VA education 好处 may fall into one 在这些章节中:

How do I know if I qualify for 好处 and what amount do I qualify for?

Veterans can call 的 Regional VA office in St. Louis at 888 - gibill1 and speak with an education 好处辅导员. You will need to provide your file 数量 to 的辅导员. For chapter 30, 31, 1606 and 1607, your file 数量 is your social security 数量. For chapter 35, you will need 的 file 数量 of 的 eligible veteran.

How do I apply for VA education 好处?

Prior to enrollment, students with veteran status should coordinate 的ir educational aspirations with 的ir Education Services Officer (ESO) or 辅导员 within 的ir 服兵役.

Students applying for GI 好处 must first be accepted into a degree program at 东南科技.

How do I become eligible for VA education 好处?

You need to apply for 好处 through 的 VA, which determines your eligibility. The 东南科技 VA Certifying Officer has applications for most of 的 chapters, however 的 VA prefers you apply on 的 GI Bill®网站.

When can I become certified for VA education 好处?

Once you are accepted and registered for classes at 东南科技, 的 VA Certifying Officer will certify you with 的 VA. If at any time before or during 的 semester your course load changes, you must notify 的 Registrar as soon as possible to avoid 多支付给退伍军人管理局.

How much will I receive if I qualify for 好处?

You must be accepted in a degree program at 东南科技.
The VA does not pay for courses a student withdraws from unless 的 student has mitigating 情况下. If you withdraw from a course, you must contact 的东南科技尽快联系VA代表. Failure to do so will result in an overpayment situation 到退伍军人管理局.
If you are repeating a course for a better grade (not because you failed 的 course), that class will not count in your certification for VA 好处.
